David Samuel Allen (pen name David Allen) is a novelist and humorist. His debut novel, *A Free Will Manifold*, is a Borgesian novel of ideas about a mathematician who discovers an impossible library containing the complete record of his life — past and future alike. He holds a Master's degree in mathematics and lives in Southwest France with his wife and three children. His shorter work has appeared at McSweeney's Internet Tendency and Half and One.
